Farm to fork (or fingers, if you please) is more than just a catch phrase at Lonikot. Take a stroll through the lush fields and pick fresh beans for dinner, let the kids dig up some carrots and radishes to munch on with a plate of chaat masala and know that your food is cooked in the purest of mustard oil even while the yellow blossoms nod their heads in the gentle breeze.
Krishna and Rita live down the road in Lonipar village, and take care of Lonikot. They will cook you a typical village meal, piping hot and healthy. Local delicacies like chinni roti, chana-saag rice with fresh fish (Rehu) straight from the river or chicken from the local farm are a favorite with our visitors.
