The Neel Ghai or Blue bull is found in abundance around the village. Although an antelope the villagers consider it belongs to the bovine family because of its misnomer (Ghai) and hence not to be killed. This myth along with the ample food available, has made this animal multiply in such large numbers that it has become a menace and a herd can completely wipe out the entire crop of a few small farmers overnight. The picture shows a beautiful full grown male specimen that gets a blue hue on its back when it reaches adulthood and thus has inherited the name - Blue bull.
